Put https://wolfgirl.dev/tags/programming/rss.xml (or any other tag) in your feed reader, or just point it at the https://wolfgirl.dev/tags/programming/ page directly b/c I'm pretty sure the metadata is set up correctly there too. Adds a couple more seconds to my build time but eh totally worth it.
Also wow I cannot take even 1 hour for simple side-project without running into another bug. I was doing a non-NixOS thing to get away from all the weird bugs!! Fortunately it is just "the URL being rendered in dev is /tags/programming/rss.xml/, which is different from the prod URL", not a hard blocker, but it does make my brain itch a little with the urge to fix it. No. I must resist... Too many other side-projects r crying out to be finished too...
So! I naturally put of doing this for all my feeds for a long time, just clicking thru to the source page, which is fine, that's how the author intended for the piece to be viewed right, doesn't even happen that often, I can totally ignore the repeated reminders of how I procrastinate doing small things that meaningfully improve my QoL1.
However! Tonight I was so bored I figured I might as well just configure all those FreshRSS CSS selectors, and power thru I did. The process led me to discover the vast majority of blogs have their main content surrounded in <article>. And here I was, using <div class="post"> like an absolute fool... This has been remedied. My procrastination of that Rust blog post I keep meaning to finish has not. Good night.

My setup is a FreshRSS server (self-hosted) that I read with NetNewsWire (iOS). This works spectacularly and I imagine I'll be doing this for years to come.
A particularly cool thing about FreshRSS is the ability to share feeds. In lieu of support for that built into this blog (we all know https://wolfgirl.dev/cybersec/ is a half-measure), I think this is the next best thing.
A "dynamic OPML" of all the blogs I follow can be found here. How it works is, your RSS client will subscribe to my list, and then for each site on the list, subscribe to it. In case that doesn't work, you can subscribe to just the amalgamation of RSS here, but I think that's a poorer experience since every time I add a new site it'll clog up the most recently added posts.
In case you don't feel like drinking from the firehose, I also have a feed that's just the articles I extremely super extra enjoy, here. Unfortunately, NetNewsWire doesn't have support for labels, so I can't really be any less selective about what I re-share, sorry!
